How do u stop breakthrough bleeding?

i skipped my placebo pills after reading on line that it was okay to go straight to next pack to skip your period, i'm loestrin fe 24 and well now i haven't stopped bleeding it wasn't at the right time when i was supposed to be menstruating just started and hasn't stopped its not all that heavy but none the less non stop and its annoying me cuz hello everyone wants to be active when they have a boyfriend, any suggestion on how to make it stop please let me know, i actually have a prescription for different brand do u think that would help?
