Applying for Law Enforcement Position: Drugs Narcotics Use Section..?

Policies pertaining to applicants and past drug use vary depending on the department. Some police departments wouldn't consider you due to your use of cocaine. Some would still consider you since it has been so long since you've last used it. Some departments wouldn't consider you because it has been less than 5 years since you've used marijuana. The Tylenol probably won't be much of an issue. Getting police officer jobs is becoming more and more competitive. There are likely to be other applicants with similar qualifications as you or better qualifications than you that haven't used illegal drugs, especially cocaine. I would wait a couple more years before you apply. Spend that time improving your resume. Get some college if you don't have any.
