Do i wash my p.e shirt with whites, and sweatpants with dark, or wash them together?

My p.e shirt is white and has blue and yellow colors on it, and my sweatpants are blue and yellow. I dont knoww how to wash them?? can i put them together? or do i have to separate the shirt with whites, and the sweatpants with dark?

Where does this outlook on step-parents come from?

Anyone who has answered one of my questions before, knows that I have asked quite a few about my stepkids. I have done this because only a few of my friends and family have stepkids, and none are actually raising them, so I have been looking for life experience and advice from other stepparents. However, I have gotten alot of nasty comments, basically making me out to be a wicked stepmom, an intruder into these kids lives, and an uncaring person, none of which is true. I have only given about 25% of the entire story and have been judged very harshly on that small bit. One thing that I have heard from alot of people on here, something that none of my family or friends agree's with, is that step parents should never disapline. Where does that view come from? And if a stepparent has taken on a full time parenting role, grocery shoppings, school clothes, parent teacher meetings, etc, why should they be treated as a maid, and not truely as a parent? They are doing the duties of a parent.

Why did my friend fall out with me?

iam a male and i have been best friends with a female since we where early teenagers at one point we got closer than friends as in the odd kiss (when we where teenagers ) .now 25 years on we have never lost that friendship so much so when she drinks a little too much she can be a bit loose with her lips and has told me that shes in love with me several times. the next day nothing is mentioned and we get on with our lifes as nothing was ever said as i put it down to the alcohol. we are both in long term happy marriages .sometimes we can argue about our familys and friends and at one time she slapped me when drunk and for the next two weeks cried and tells me that its the worst thing she has ever done.i have been there all her life for her and know everything about her and i have always been the one she confides in and helped her pick up the pieces.well a few weeks ago her brother started a fight with a friend in a restaurant and threw a gl of water over him for no reason in front of us.so the following week we had a few drinks too many and i told her that her brother was a total *** hole at times well she stormed out and then told all our friends and family that she hates me and told them that i called her brother an *** hole and is constantly bitching about me to them .she has totally fallen out with me .i dont understand when we have slagged both our familys over the years and accepted it like brother and sister.i know she is having problems with her husband but why has she totally fallen out with me.all our friends have told her that she has went over the top with this .WHY ME . Internet Not Working?

My internet, DSL, has been not working properly the past couple weeks on my PC. There would be periods of time where the internet would not work. For example if I click on a video on youtube to view, the clip would start buffering but stop midway, quarterway, etc. The clip would not restart buffering unless I refreshed the page. I've noticed that this also happens when I load a regular page as well. BTW, this started happening when I got a wireless router for my house. But routers aren't supposed to do this right? Another thing I did a virus scan so I don't think it's a virus. But it might be?

ok before anybody gripes its late at night so i cant get ahold of any vets or animal control im just hoping someones on and can help for now! i live in a small town and i have no vehical to take them to the emergency vet (its 20 mins away by car)! i love my animals! i was gone all day (all my cats were fine) and i feed and watered them and put them in the bathroom so my puppy wouldnt bother them (there was nothing they could get into i already thought of tht and checked the whole room)! but i came home and one was dead and another dying(now dead) and 2 more seem weak and one of them are sorta stumbling! i gave them a hand bath (2 try to wipe anything from their fur but they are in a very warm place so they are safe there) and made them drink a little milk and water to get something in their stomaches (the other 2 are eating fine) but im scared im a real animal lover but i dont know what to do to try to help them tonight until i can find help! im gonna make them eat broth in 20 more mins but i need to know if there is anything else i can do to help until i can find a shelter to take them! btw the animal control wont give them medical attention some im trying not to do tht! :'( pleasee help!

Landlord/Tenant question?

We have lived in a rental property for about four weeks now. The house has had numerous issues since we have moved in, including lack of working plumbing, no working heat, no hot water, etc. We found out the landlord had lit the heater illegally as well, and we have been breathing in carbon monoxide from the cracked furnace. The city came by today and condemned the house until electrical, plumbing, and other work is completed and have declared the house unsafe to occupy. The landlord has now offered to let all 7 in my family stay in a two room apartment until the house is loivable again...but I have had enough and want out of my lease. Can I legally terminate my lease immediately? Do I have to give him notice? This is in Kansas by the way...any help is appreciated.

I have this fear and anxiety about crying in front of anyone, and it's this extreme sign of weakness to me, but I think anyone else who cries is just human. Ever since I was little, I would either be ignored, told to get over it and grow up, to shut up, or I would be pestered whenever I cried. It's impossible to tell my parents anything. When my dad found out I was going to therapy, he yelled at me, telling me to grow up and deal with it. Ok, I have temporary custody notarized by a judge of my 2 year old niece and my 3 year old nephew since 2009, but I've actually been taking care of them since she was 2 weeks old and he was 5 months old. My husband and I have been providing this children including my 1 1/2 year old son with food, clothing, shelter and love of a parent. Their biological mother hasn't been in the picture until now. She had put a motion to regain custody back of the children because she has DYFS on her back because of a child endangerment case with her other 3 children. Her motivation of regaining custody back of the children I have was because she was receiving welfare benefits and cash istance for the children and was afraid of getting caught, but....on the 23rd, we had our motion hearing (which I refused to sign and she was not granted visitations rights) my attorney sent out an affidavit to the prosecutor that dealt with us that day on the 23rd, stating that she was receiving welfare benefits of the children while not having custody of them. I'm guessing the prosecutor called welfare and reported her and all of her benefits including the ones of the other 3 children were canceled until further investigation. The home she's living in now is through section 8 and welfare was helping her by paying the full rent. We're schedule for custody seminar on April 8th and if anything doesn't gets resolve that date...then the case will be sent out for a hearing in front of a judge. The mother hasn't done anything for this children. She doesn't call, to check up on them, she doesn't help AT ALL. I don't want to disrespect her in any way, but I look at her as a surrogate mother, because she dropped this children at my house and never picked them up. I stepped up and took care of them and now after all this time she wants to become the MOTHER OF THE YEAR and try to be the mother she never was to the children, just because she has DYFS on her back. A mother is a person who steps up and takes responsibilities and care for a child. Now, my questions are: Could she lose her apartment because her welfare benefits are canceled?.....I don't wish her anything bad, but would that benefit us during the plenary hearing?......I'm aware of her having the upper hands, just because she's the biological mother, but what are my chances of continuing having custody of my niece and nephew?....Oh by the way the biological father is my bother and he's incarcerated. I have proof of the her current child endangerment case (she left her other 3 children with a man that's mentally unstable and was drunk at the time while she went out drinking. The man threatened the kids by saying he was going to cut their fingers and toes and cut himself to let the children know that he was serious) and many other things she had done.

Check her for meningitis. Get a clear gl and run it over the patch and if the patch stays there with the pressure of the gl you should take her to hospital asap just to be on the safe side. That's a good sign then, usually with meningitis you get patches and if you run a gl over it and it does'nt disappear then you know there's trouble ahead. My sisters son had meningitis and the same thing happened but luckily the week before i watched a program about meningitis and what to look out for and what to do if you suspect it. If they played against teams that were par with them or better week in and week out they wouldn't have such a good record. In the SEC teams bet the living crap out of each other so it's a lot more unlikely for a team to make it through the year unblemished because of injuries and fatigue. To make it through unbeaten a team will have to bring their A game every single week. Boise doesn't have to. However they will be joining the MWC soon which is a step up. If anything Boise would want a single BCS title game especially this year when they being unbeaten gives them a great shot at the NC. If Ohio St. or Bama lose it's going to be hard for Boise to be ped over for the National Title game. Is my amplifier fried?

My amp recently blew some fuses, so i had them replaced about 2 weeks later. within those 2 weeks a lot of snow happened, and unfortunately my amp is under the penger's seat of my truck where a lot of snowy shoes were near. When i got new fuses, I unplugged the power cable from my amp and the negative cable from my battery. I then put the fuses in, plugged in the power cable, then plugged in the battery cable. The problem is, when i was plugging in the battery, my sister said the amp started sparking, smoking and smelling. now it doesn't turn on. Is it cooked or can i get it fixed? I am 17, 18 next month and for the last 4-5 years i have anted to join the Marines and now that I finally figured out that I was joining the Marines after my first year of college, I am starting to second guess myself. I made up my mind about joining about 2-3 months ago. I have not signed anything and seen a recruiter once but is this normal? Am i just second guessing myself because it is going off into the unknown? Or should I go back and reconsider the decision to join. I know for a fact if I dont join I will look back at it later and life and regret not joining. Thanks for your time.

My boyfriend and will be going out for 6 months on september 4th. and we have out ups and downs and we get through them but this bothers me alot he's very closed about how he feels about me. I got my belly on pierced about two months ago and it was healing properly. I did have some redness and crusting and all the stuff that was supposed to happen. And for awhile, it didn't hurt and I could move it around. I cleaned it twice a day everyday with antibacterial soap but lately I stopped and only do it once a day. Fundraising ideas for softball coach memory?

idk if this is the right place to ask this or not but i figure parents may have better suggestions. anyway, i play fastpitch softball and on monday one of our coaches unexpectedly ped away. he was loved by all of us and its really hard to deal with rite now. but we got together yesterday for practice(like he woulda wanted us to do) and us girls all decided that we wanna do an awesome fundraiser to honor him with all proceeds going to a childrens charity, our softball team, or his family. we dont know which yet. we dont wanna do the usual sub sandwich sale or anything like that. we thought about having a small carnival but we dont know how to organize that(we're a bunch of 14 year old girls, lol). another idea that came from one of the other girls dad is to have my dad come and do an autograph signing after one of our games. my dad is a pro baseball player and that would generate a good amout of money and im sure he would do it but scheduling it would be a huge problem. he has a 10 game road trip coming up, then when he is home he only has one day off before they start the next home stand.and his games are pretty much at the same time as mine. and plus im not sure if i wanna do that cuz i feel like it would be more about my father then about our coach. its hard to explain. maybe thats just me being selfish, idk. but if you have any really cool fundraising ideas please help us. we will take all ideas, lol. also which do you think would be the best place to donate all the proceeds?
