Should I trade-in my Dsi XL?

I bought a dsi XL last year then 2 weeks later I found out the 3ds was coming out. Gamestop is having a trade-in special this week so the 3DS would be just $150. Would it be worth it to trade up? or should I keep my XL? I was so disappointed to because this was the first handheld system I bought since my gameboy advance SP way back in the day lol
