How do I cite an entry in MLA that has no page numbers or paragraph numbers?

I have an encyclopedia entry that has many paragraphs and no page numbers. I'm so confused. I've searched everywhere. MLA is just too confusing. I can't even find an answer to something as simple as this. My book on MLA says only to cite paragraph numbers if they are numbered and there are no page numbers. My entry doesn't have paragraph or page numbers. Just a bunch of un-numbered paragraphs. Do I just cite the author's name for my in-text parenthetical citations?
