How do hamlet's changing views of death explain his action and inaction?

I feel that his fear of death in the after life causes inaction (but I need some help supporting this...why is this true). And I feel that as he gets more comfortable with the idea of death, he starts to perform his duties...any ideas of support would be greatly appreciated.
