Fishermen help me out with catfish catching?

I'm going to sunset park in las Vegas nv tomorrow and it is full of catfish . The catfish are fro 2-4 lbs and about 9-12 inches. I need help with a very highly working choice of bait. A type of hook, brand and size. And I need help with the lb of line to use. Hopefully I'll see some of you there. Please help thank you. And let me know if anyone is heading there
