Fundraising ideas for softball coach memory?

idk if this is the right place to ask this or not but i figure parents may have better suggestions. anyway, i play fastpitch softball and on monday one of our coaches unexpectedly ped away. he was loved by all of us and its really hard to deal with rite now. but we got together yesterday for practice(like he woulda wanted us to do) and us girls all decided that we wanna do an awesome fundraiser to honor him with all proceeds going to a childrens charity, our softball team, or his family. we dont know which yet. we dont wanna do the usual sub sandwich sale or anything like that. we thought about having a small carnival but we dont know how to organize that(we're a bunch of 14 year old girls, lol). another idea that came from one of the other girls dad is to have my dad come and do an autograph signing after one of our games. my dad is a pro baseball player and that would generate a good amout of money and im sure he would do it but scheduling it would be a huge problem. he has a 10 game road trip coming up, then when he is home he only has one day off before they start the next home stand.and his games are pretty much at the same time as mine. and plus im not sure if i wanna do that cuz i feel like it would be more about my father then about our coach. its hard to explain. maybe thats just me being selfish, idk. but if you have any really cool fundraising ideas please help us. we will take all ideas, lol. also which do you think would be the best place to donate all the proceeds?
